Atmospheric universal gas burner - has conical flow speed increasing device for ensuring turbulent mixing

Burner is used especially for heating of hot water generators for example for preparing the bath water. The gas inlet nozzle is held in a lower part of a vertical tube over which is placed a funnel shaped outlet. This funnel is closed by a dished disc leaving a narrow circular outlet for gas. The cross sectional area of this outlet is at least equal to the cross sectional area of the outlet opening of the tube. The vertical tube (2) with the nozzle (1) has a conical inner tube (11) which ensures high flow speed of the gas and hence it entrains combustion air and turbulence is generated for promoting good mixing. The inner tube is held by radial support (12) within the tube (2) and these radial arms can be spot welded on the tube wall.
