摘要
In vagotomy operations electrical stimulus signals are supplied to the oesophagus for test purposes via a clamp (1), which has two semicircles (2) secured at the end of a hollow rod (7) and enclosing the oesophagus. In each of the semicircles two likewise semicircular electrodes (4, 5) are secured and insulated and connected to electrical leads. The leads run right through the hollow rods (7) to a resilient stirrup (8) on which the hollow rods (7) are secured at the end remote from the semicircles (2). The stirrup (8) has an inner and an outer C-shaped, elastically flexible wall. These walls (9, 10) are connected to one another at their ends and together delimit a channel in which the leads running from the electrodes (4, 5) are connected to a cable (13). The end of the cable (13) is secured in the channel, and the channel is filled with a rubber-elastic plastic material (12), with the result that the clamp (1) has no externally accessible conducting wires and, thus, no blood can penetrate into the hollow inner chamber of the branch box.
