Self cleaning burner cover for gas appliances - has outside cover plate expanding differentially for cleaning purposes (NL 23.1.78)

The self cleaning burner cover is used in gas heated domestic appliances. The outside, facing layer of sheet metal is in contact with the inner plate in cold condition. The outside plate has higher coefficient of thermal expansion and higher conductivity than the inner plate. The cover ensures constantly a rapid self cleaning capacity of its furnace. The surface has in its middle part cover provided with a circular opening. A thin steel plate is placed on the cover. This is covered with a thin plate of aluminium which is folded over at the edges for clamping purposes. The steel sheet plate is pressed into convex shape.
