Solar heating installation using a heat exchanger - to transfer the heat from a reservoir to an air heating system

The heat exchanger is for a solar heating installation which has a heat source, such as a solar trap, the heat from which is transmitted by a fluid heat carrier to the heat reservoir. The heat energy thus accumulated is used in a hot air system, the walls of the reservoir being constructed to allow thermal exchange across the walls and circulation of air around them. Vanes are placed between the reservoir and the outer chamber to ensure the circulation of the air from the fresh air inlet at the bottom to the warm air outlet at the top. The heat exchanger avoids the use of large cumbersome parts to use the heat energy. It provides a convenient and economical system for heating air and is itself economical to produce.
