PURPOSE:To reduce the man power and to avoid the lowering in the vacuum internal of the package, by immersing the package containing the piezoelectric oscillator in the sealing and bonding material such as molten solder under high vacuum and lifting it up afterward. CONSTITUTION:The package base 2 and cover 3 containing the piezoelectric oscillator 1 are attached closely and they are set in the vacuum package 5 and draght is made from the vent hole 8. After that, the sealing and bonding material 14 such as solder is molten with the heater 7 in the molten vessel 6, reducing the gas produced from the material 14. When the vacuum package 5 reaches high vacuum, the package base 2 and the cover 3 set are immersed in the sealing and bonding material 14, and after immersing the material 14 between the metal film 10 placed on the metal film 9 and the cover 3, it is lifted up and fixed and sealed.
