Epoxy resin compsns., which harden quickly and autogenously at room temp., have a continuous liq. phase and contain: (A) a polyglycidyl ether of polyhydric phenols having a ratio OH : 1,2-epoxy gps. =2.5:2, cycloaliphatic epoxides and/or polyglycidyl ethers of Novolak resins; (B) a polycarboxylic acid anhydride, in sufficient amt. to provide 0.5-2 anhydride gps. for each 1,2-epoxy gp., and continuously dispersed in continuous liq. phase, and (C) a liq. polymercaptan resin having an ave. SH-functionality 2.5 (=3), OH-functionality, esp. =2, and ave. MW 300-5,000; (C) is uniformly dispersed in liq. phase and is present in catalytic concs. of 3-150 (5-50), esp. 10-35 wt. pts. w.r.t. 100 wt. pts. (A).
