PURPOSE:To detect the above-mentioned leakage in its early stages with a simple trough structure and to enable an appropriate measure to be taken, by making a hollow part in which the light from the outside has been shielded at the lower side of the molten iron trough receiving and detecting the light emitted from the molten iron which has leaked from the trough with the light detector installed in this darkroom hollow part and issuing the alarm automatically.
