Headlamp with inclination control - has detachable coupling between servo motor and headlamp to avoid servo dismantling

The headlamp assembly is pivotted in a frame on the car body to pivot about a transverse horizontal axis. A servo motor is fitted to the rear of the headlamp mounting frame and tilts the headlamp by remote control. The servo operating rod can be adjusted by a manual control to trim the system. The servo motor is coupled to the operating rod by a detachable coupling comprising a coupling ball at the end of the servo motor which locate in a spherical coupling jaw at the end of the operating rod. The coupling jaw has four segments which locate between tags on the ball to provide a rotational drive between the servo motor and the headlamp assembly.
