A reference component (ZD) is provided at the input of a control circuit consisting of a differential voltage amplifier (OP) and a continuously variable amplifying component, e.g. a transistor (T2) whose emitter is connected to a voltage divider resistor (R2), from which the constant voltage, referred to the potential at the reference component, can be collected. Its collector is connected to a further voltage divider resistor (R3) from which the other supply voltage referred to the constant voltage, can be collected. The tapped voltages can be converted to heavy duty values by means of impedance converters and control switching.
