A Chinese ink pen is used with a capillary tube into which a wire projects carrying a fall weight at its other end. The capillary tube (3) is connected to the Chinese ink storage container (10) without any ventilation and equalisation channel. The ink storage container consists of a very thin, flexible, non-elastic material and is fitted with a length reinforcement so that it reacts to the most minute change in pressure by only falling radially inwards. The ink container is enclosed by a cylinder (12) the walls of which consist of a rigid material and filled with a liquid and connected to the ventilation and equalisation channel (5) to balance the pressure.
