Reactants which are photosensitive to visible radiation (e.g. ZnS, Zn selenide or Zn telluride, or a II-vi cpd.) is/are dissolved in an organic solvent (e.g. DMSO) and the resulting soln. is mixed with a binder and the resulting mixt. coated on a support sheet. Material is used in electron photography to produce a latent image with electrostatic electrification step.
