摘要
A heated cathode is for an X-ray tube which uses an electrically heated element as the electron emitter. The heating current terminals are connected to a metal strip with a high melting point and which can emit electrons. The anode (9) is of the rotary type. The heating voltage is applied across the ends (10, 11) of the heated emitter. There are cutouts on opposite sides of the heating strip. The cutouts are at different distances from each other, of different depths and of different lengths. Certain sections of the strip are of different electrical resistance because of the width and thickness.
