PURPOSE:To electrolytically transfer and rigidly secure grind granules to grind stone blank in such a way that electrolyte is circulated through a plurality of perforations disposed on blank mold at portions thereof where grind granules are not attached, and that anode metal ions are successfully crystallized on the surface of the blank. CONSTITUTION:Blank mold 7 is provided with hemispherical cavity which is similar to hemispherical protrusion of grind stone blank 1. Auxiliary anode membrane 10 insoluble in electrolyte 9 is disposed on inner face of blank mode 7, and grind granules 4 are temporarily attached in one layer on the membrane 10 except portions thereof corresponding to chips discharge grooves 13 of grind stone blank 1. In the next, anode plate 12 which surrounds the blank mold 7 in electrolyte 9 and the auxiliary anode membrane 10 are connected to positive terminal of power source E, and the blank 1 is to negative terminal threrof. In the while electric current flows through electrolyte 9, electrolyte 9 is circulated by pump 18 through a plurality of perforations 19 disposed at portions in the grooves 13 where grind granules 4 are not attached, so that the grind granules 4 are rigidly attached to the blank 1 by anode metal layer which is electrolytically transferred to and attached on the surface of the grind stone blank 1.
