PURPOSE:To get a reliable, automatic gas shut-off device, by blocking a gas feed port with a ball valve in a gas connector which is divided into two in case of earthquake. CONSTITUTION:When a weight drops from a saucer 15 in case of an earthquake above a preset level of magnitude, the tip of a guid lever 14 is weighted to turn the lever with a shaft of a bearing 11 as a fulcrum. Then the bent end 13 of the guide lever is detached from a bearing 11' of a lower connector B to let the connecter B drop. At this moment, a spherical body 8 pressed by a push rod 5 projected from an upper connector A is pressed tight, virtue of a spring, to a socket 9 of upper outlet to block the gas feed.
