The device has an inlet (23) for loading a line with gas or gas mixture in a pipe system of a vehicle. A pipeline controlled by a control unit (12) is subjected with gas blocks of the gas or gas mixture. The pipeline is intermittently enforced in individual pulses, as sequences of liquid-and gas stream, through a passage upto a pressure-degrading outlet. The liquid-and gas stream is supplied by a liquid container (21) and the gas blocks over a storage container (5). The pressure-degrading outlet is equipped with a cyclone filter. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning drinking water supply lines and sewage pipes in a vehicle.
