VENTILATION CONTROL SYSTEM IN THE CASE OF FIRE OCCURRENCE IN TUNNEL

PURPOSE:To perform ventilation effectively by discriminating a block where a fire has broke out from others and by controlling the ventilation taking the direction of wind in a tunnel into consideration. CONSTITUTION:An operation mode will be memorized in an operation pattern memory circuit 81, and generally, when a fire has broke out in a tunnel, inlet and outlet blower groups 20, 10 will be reversely rotated to serve as exhaust blowers. However the operation mode of the blower groups 10, 20 can be modified taking the spot of fire and the stream of smoke influenced by the direction of wind into consideration so that the tunnel will not be filled with the smoke. For example, if a fire has broke out near the entrance of the tunnel,the smoke should be exhausted from there, and to do so the outlet blower groups 20 are reversely rotated to serve as exhaust blowers. Thus if a fire has broke out in a tunnel where automobiles are running, by discriminating a block area where the fire is located from others and by controlling the ventilation taking the direction of wind in the tunnel into consideration effective ventilation can be performed.
