Instrument housing with interchangeable measurement scale carrier for installation in a control panel

An instrument housing (1) exhibiting a measuring mechanism with a pointer and suitable for installation in a control panel, with rectangular to square front and housing flange (3), exhibits on one casing side (2) a housing slot (4) for inserting or removing an interchangeable measurement scale carrier (5). The housing slot (4) can be closed by a slot cover flap (6) hinged at the casing side (2), in such a manner that the housing slot (4) is mandatorily closed when the housing (1) is inserted into the control panel cutout. A number of steps (15, 16) at the slot edge and matching raised parts (23, 24, 25, 26) of the cover flap (6) provide for leakage-current-tight, dustproof cover of the slot (4). IMAGE
