ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA user input/output device comprises a lighted, segmentedbar grap type display and an array of light transmitting touchsensitive areas superimposed over the bar graph display. Asuitable circuit means is responsive to the touch sensitiveareas and connected for driving the segments of the bar graphsuch that when any one of the touch sensitive areas istouched, a corresponding display segment and all displaysegments to one side are energized and the remaining dis-play elements are de-energized.
