Gastight seal on doors

The sliding door (12) can be sealed laterally and at the top by sealing elements in the form of elastic strip bodies (17). These are inserted displaceably in grooves (20) of the door case (16). They are pressed against the door leaf by compressed air against the force of tension springs (23). Arranged on the door leaf (12), on the underside, is an identical elastic strip body (17) which is pressed against the floor, likewise by compressed air. The gastight seal is in particular suitable for sliding doors of laboratory, examination and treatment rooms in hospitals. IMAGE
