A hollow rod (13) is inserted into the space between the seal (11) and the bottom (9) of the joint (3) at the edge of the floor (1). Gas is blown through the hollow rod into the joint for testing leakage in the seal by observing soap bubbles on the upper surface of the seal. An Independent claim is also included for seal leakage testing device.
