The system for fighting ground targets uses aerial reconnaissance and remote control of missiles. The ground target is located and the missile is guided with high accuracy. Aerial photographs are taken of ground targets. These photographs are associated with measured travel time of electromagnetic waves at least at two fixed points. Measured travel times of a selected target are fed into a storage of data relating to remote a controlled missile and linked to a computer for forming guiding signals. Travelling times of electromagnetic waves between missile and the fixed points are constantly fed to the missile. The photographs and the corresp. travelling times are stored in a reconnaissance missile.
