The axial-flow fan compriss a driving motor with fan impeller, air guides, and a housing with inlet and outlet. The fan impeller (2) blades are V-shaped, and situated in the path of the air in front of a flow guide unit, pref. having four guide vanes (3), arranged in a cruci-form pattern. The fan impeller diameter can be greater than that of the ventilation conduit on the inlet and discharge sides. The housing (6) may consist of a cylindrical middle section, with a diameter greater than that of the fan impeller. This section ends are coaxical, fitting the size of the ventilation duct.
