The impact-massage instrument comprises a handle, in which a highly elastic bar fits, this bar being of adjustable length. A foam rubber ball of variable size fits on the other end of the elastic bar. The bar can be formed by a coil or leaf spring and may be made of glass fibre reinforced plastics and instead of the ball there can be an object of any desired shape, e.g. for use at reflex zones and acupuncture points. The instrument can form part of an electrically-driven appts.
