REPAIR METHOD OF PART OF DEVICE AND MACHINE WHERE WEAR RESISTANCE IS REQUIRED

PURPOSE:To simplify a repair method by a method wherein narrow rim part of a parent metal is remained at both sides on a parent metal steel plate having a good welding quality and a metal having a resistance to wear is filled onto it. CONSTITUTION:A combined steel plate parts having a wear resistance is arranged at a part required to be repaired so that the extending direction of a rim 3 of its parent metal 1 may be at the right angle to the flow direction of an abrasive medium contacting the surface. When a plurality of sheets of parts are required, these ends of rims 3 are butted to be joined so that the extending direction of the rim 3 may be at approx. the right angle to the flow direction of the abrasive medium and it is fitted partially through a welding 10. In the method as above-mentioned, the repair method is simplified.
