SOLAR HEAT COLLECTOR INTEGRAL WITH ROOF STRUCTURE USING AIR AS HEAT TRANSMITTING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To utilize the solar heat effectively and unnecessitate the consideration of leakage of water and the like by a method wherein the solar heat collector using air as an heat transmitting medium is provided integrally on a roof and air is circulated as a heat transmitting medium. CONSTITUTION:Insulating material 6 is placed on the sheathing 3 over the plane asbetos cement slate 1 and insulating material 2 which are under the roof. A distribution duct 7 having feed ducts 4 and a collection duct 8 having returns ducts 5 are placed between the insulating material 6 and roof structural members 9. A transparent plate 17 and a heat collecting plate 16 (an aluminum plate of the like) are supported over the roof structural members 9 by lattice support sash bars 11, to form an air passage 13 between the heat collecting plate 16 and the roof structural members 9, and an inlet 14 and an outlet 15 are provided at both ends of the roof structural member 9 to communicate the air passage 13 with the ducts 7, 8. Heat transmitting fins are provided in the air passage 13, and air is caused to flow as indicated by arrows A and is heated.
