The rotary command switch transforms the rotary motion of a knob (8) into a reciprocating axial motion of two pusher elements (7) which are inserted in a slotted bell (9). They act in such a way that a 90 deg. turn to the right pushes the one element (7) on the plunger (6) of a first push button (2) and a 90 deg. turn to the left the other element (7) depresses the plunger of the third push button. If it is desired to combine one or both operations with the simultaneous actuation of the central push button, one or two V-shaped inserts (14) are added and they contact the central plunger. Additional push buttons can be actuated by providing hinged levers (17).
