The connector has the seal between a pressure nut and the sheath of the cable accomplished using a sealing ring that fits into the nut. The ring has internal circular projections that project radially inwards and press against the outer surface of the cable's sheath. A ring shaped like a squat truncated cone provides tension relief and connects the cable's outer conductor electrically. The ring is seated in a recess in a holder that fits into the sealing ring. the recess is deep enough to allow the threaded portion of a nut to screw into it and compress the cone axially thus causing it to expand radially and grip the outer conductor.
