Film clamp for slide frame - has hooks on sprung bar to grip perforations

The film clamp for a slide frame has the film section stretched over two sets of hooks clipped through the sprocket holes. One of the hooks is fixed and the other is sprung to provide the film tension, as well as enabling the film to be slung over the hooks. The sprung mounting has a one piece plastic moulding with the hooks (8) on one section of a slotted insert (6) which is located on tags (5) in the frame. The unsupported section, with the hooks, has a set elastically in two directions and the film is held flat even when heated during projection.
