The roofing panel (1) is moulded in one piece from synthetic resin and includes a flat thin portion (2) the outer surface (3) of which imitates traditional tiles and the inner surface (6) of which presents parallel ribs (7a,7b) which are supported by the roofing frame (L). Two of the ribs (7b) making up the lateral internal edges of each panel run in guttering channels and contain apertures (20) which locate the panels onto supports (22). The sides and the ends of the panels co-operate with their immediate neighbours by interlocking tongue and grooves.
