PREVENTING METHOD OF N2O GAS IN BIOLOGICAL DENITRIFICATION TREATMENT

PURPOSE:To reduce N2O gas to N2 gas and prevent the release of N2O gas into the atmosphere by letting the N2O gas released to the vapor phase part of a denitrifying vessel be captured by hydrogen donator such as alcohol and supplying this donator to the denitrifying vessel. CONSTITUTION:In case N2O gas is being byproduced in the exhaust gas G released into the vapor phase part of a denitrifying vessel 1, it is rleased into the methanol- containing waste water or methanol solution M in an exhaust gas scrubbing bottle 8 by way of an exhaust gas take-out port 7, exhaust gas lead-in part and glass filter 9, so that the N2O gas is captured in the solution M. The gas G' after the scrubbing is released into the vapor phase part of the scrubbing bottle 8 and the solution M after the scrubbing is supplied to the denitrifying vessel 1. During this time, the N2O gas is reduced to N2 gas. Part of the gas G' after the scrubbing is sampled and whether it has been reduced to N2 gas or not is checked.
