CORRECTING METHOD FOR MAGNETIC COMPASS FOR VESSEL

PURPOSE:To correct a magnetic compass securely and certainly for a short period of time by anchoring or berthing a vessel and by turning the head of the vessel using an auxiliary tugboat. CONSTITUTION:A mother ship SP is veered to respective modifying azimuths by an auxiliary tugboat, and its magnetic compass is corrected by keeping the azimuth for a required period of time.
