Light bituminous compensating filling granulate - is inlaid in aerated concrete base cinder layers and surface depressions

The particles are used for insulated stabilised compensating fillings, esp. used in building. The particles consist of a core and an enclosing coating of bituminous material, and together make up a lightweight granulated material. The granulated material is formed on an aerated concrete base. A max. of 20 kg, pref. max. 12 kg per cu. metre of bitumen is inlaid in crushed cinder layers of the aerated concrete particles and in depressions in the surfaces of the particles. Use can be made of aerated concrete burned at 1,200 to 1,250 deg. C. The particles can be made from homogenised concrete dust and they may be cold-bitumenised with bitumen emulsion.
