Oblong item bunching machine - has belts with dogs running at different speeds above conveyor

The machine assembles oblong items, partic. flowers, into bunches, having a feed conveyor for the items delivering onto a main conveyor, on which they are bunched together. The top run of the main conveyor (2) is level, and above it are two endless belts (7,10) with driving dogs (12,13) and driven at different speeds. This is done in such a manner that the dogs on the belts are close together at the point where the items are delivered by the feed conveyor (1) onto the main one. The belts can be run round pulleys on a common axis, the pulley for the slower-running one being of smaller diameter.
