An apparatus for supplying a current of warm humidified air to the nasal mucus of a patient for the treatment of a common cold or of allergic rhinitis includes a device for supplying a current of air under pressure and a device for supplying water under pressure to an outlet element 40, the air flowing in the space 44, via a heater 46, to the outlet nozzle 74, and the water flowing via the pipes 46, via the heater 46, and via appropriate control valves 60, in order to be injected by means of injection needles 66 into the current of air in such a manner that the air is humidified and heated before it is injected into the patient's nostrils.
