Procedure for obtaining tetrahidroisoquinolina Derivatives, and their physiologically compatible salts of formula (i), in which R and R are fenilalquilo or lower alkyl; R is Hydrogen or lower alkyl, R is Hydrogen, Lower alkyl or aralquilo.Involves the reaction of phosgene with a Racemic or optically Active Compound of formula nhch CHR coor R, where r is lower alkyl; and R and R have the same meaning as in formula (i); followed by the condensation reaction of the product formed in an Inert Solvent, a temp Eratura between 0 C and 80 C.You can also do the phosgene to react directly with a compound of formula (ii), in which R is lower alkyl or aralquilo. These compounds have pharmacological applications as antihypertensive agents.
