Auto-locking buckle for joining straps - has roller between wings joined to central part with toothed hole superposed above it

The auto-locking buckle is for joining the ends of straps and consists of an S-shaped central part (16) and two wings (17), perpendicular to this. A grooved roller (19) is mounted between the wings, near one end of the buckle. The central part is joined to the wings at one end and has a sole (20), parallel to the axis of the roller, with a toothed edge (22), at the other end. When no force is exerted on the central part it rests against the roller as the buckle is made in a hard but elastic material, e.g. tempered steel.
