Packaging material cut out made from carton for a multi-bottle pack with an upper sections with cut outs for edges of the bottles and/or grip openings as well as with side sections covering the bottles on the sides and with base sections connectable to each other. The upper section is fitted with flaps at both its ends connected by fold over edges. In addition there are side surfaces connected with base flaps by inclined sections. The transfer from the side surfaces to the inclined sections is formed by a double groove and the folding flaps in turn are connected to the roof surfaces, the inclined surfaces and the back flaps in each case by four triangular gable flaps held together by folding lines.
