SOIL AND SAND DISCHARGER IN CAISSON WORK

PURPOSE:To improve the discharge efficiency of soil and sand by a method in which a rotary box is rotatably set in a fixed box and communicated to a working tower when the openings of both the boxes and matched with each other, and a bucket is operated in a vertically movable manner. CONSTITUTION:When the opening 6 of a rotary box 5 is matched with the opening 3 of a fixed box 2 and a space 8 communicated to the inside of a working tower 1, a winch 9 is turned, a bucket 12 filled with soil and sand is moved upwards in the working tower 1, and when the bucket 12 reaches the inside of the space 8, the rotation of the winch 9 is stopped. The rotary box 5 is turned to the direction of arrow to incline the bucket 12, and when the opening 7 of the rotary box 5 is matched with the opening 4 of the fixed box 2, the rotation of the rotary box 5 is stopped and soil and sand are discharged from the bucket 12. The rotary box 5 is turned inversely until the opening 6 of the rotary box 5 is matched with the opening 3 of the fixed box 2, and the rotation of the rotary box 5 is stopped.
