PURPOSE:To produce all carrier signals for conversion of frequency with just a single oscillating circuit and therefore to eliminate the control among circuits unlike a case where plural oscillating circuits are provided, by using a reference oscillating circuit and a frequency dividig circuit which divides the frequency of the oscillation signal of the reference oscillating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation signal f1' of a reference oscillating circuit 71 is supplied to frequency converting circuits 52 and 58 respectively as a carrier signal. Then the frequency of this carrier signal is divided down to 1/N by a frequency dividing circuit 72 and supplied to a band-pass filter 73, and a signal of frequency f1'/N is extracted. Using this signal and the oscillation signal of the circuit 71, a frequency converting circuit 74 produces a signal of frequency f2' (f2'=f1'-f'/N). This output signal is supplied to frequency converting circuits 53 and 59 respectively as a frequency converting carrier signal through a band- pass filter 75. In such a constitution, the frequency floating effect is not virtually generated between the carrier signal supplied to the circuits 52 and 53 in at the time of the recording and that supplied to frequency converting circuits 58 and 59 in at the time of the reproduction respectively.
