Process for obtaining hybrid plasmids capable of replication in Bacillus subtilis and stptococcus pneumoniae.

The process consists of isolating and characterising both plasmids; digesting with a restriction enzyme; linking the plasmidic ADN treated with ADN-ligase; obtaining a new plasmid by transformation with cultures of S. pneumoniae, which is transferred to B. subtilis. A mixt. contg. 1 mg/ml tetracycline and 200 micro/ml. Karamycin is used for network binding and selection.
