-19-"SAFETY CLUTCH AND QUICK RELEASE ASSEMBLY FOR GRAIN AUGERSAND THE LIKE"ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREIn my patent no: 9745919, a slip clutch assemblyis shown which enables the intake end of the auger flightto stop rotating if equipment or a limb of the operator in-advertently engages the intake end. The present device in-cludes an actuating lever adjacent the intake end so thatthe intake end portion of the auger can be disengaged fromthe main auger flight if desired. A remote actuating leveris situated adjacent the discharge end of the auger tubeoperatively connected to the actuating lever adjacent theintake end so that remote control is possible. Over centerlinkage is provided so that the slip clutch assembly iseither held in the engaged or disengaged position depend-ing upon the position of the actuating lever.
