The index ridge (20) of a motor-drivable globoidal roller (18) mounted in a gearbox (12) is in engagement with in each case two index pins (24) of a number of index pins projecting radially from the circumference of an output disc (22) likewise rotatably mounted in the gearbox, with the result that a rotation of the globoidal roller (18) is converted into a rotary movement of the output disc (22) dependent as regards the acceleration and speed curve on the variable slope of the index ridge (20). To achieve a transmission ratio from the globoidal roller (18) to the output disc (22) such that the output disc performs one revolution for each revolution of the globoidal roller, the index ridge of the globoidal roller is of multi-thread design.
