WIRE END CLAMPING AND DRAWING-OUT DEVICE IN WINDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the clamping operation of a wire end by rotatably supporting a movable base, which is contactable and removable from a bobbin shaft, on a machine body, and providing a wire clamping mechanism slidably from a clamping position to a drawing-out position, on this movable base. CONSTITUTION:In a winding machine, a flat-belt shaped movable base 7 is swingably installed at its one end, to a supporting shaft 8, in a certain position of a machine body 1, on which a bobbin shaft 2 and a traverser roller 6 are provided. This movable able base 7 is swung by means of a swinging cylinder 9, and a slide block 21, which slides at a stroke twice that of a cylinder main body 17 by means of the operation of a cylinder 13 and through a chain mechanism, is provided on the base 7. A clamping mechanism 22 having a pair of clamp arms 24, which open and close by the operation of a cylinder, is provided on this block 21. And, the wire end held by the mechanism 22 is transferred to between the stopper flange 2a of the bobbin shaft 2 and the flange 3a of the bobbin 3.
