INCINERATION OF SEWAGE OR RAW SEWAGE SLUDGE AND THE LIKE IN FLUIDIZED-BED INCINERATOR

PURPOSE:To contrive to simplify the facility and at the same time to improve the thermal efficiency by a method wherein a part of matter to be incinerated to charge in an incinerator is mixed with high temperature fluid medium extracted from the incinerator in advance in order to be dried and the resultant mixture of the dried matter to be incinerated containing the fluid medium is mixed with the remaining un-dried matter to be incinerated in order to be charged in the incinerator. CONSTITUTION:Every predetermined amount of sludge to be incienerated, which has lower calorific value, such as sewage sludge or the like is fluidized and burnt by adding auxiliary fuel in a fluidized-bed incinerator 1. Every adequate amount of the resultant fluid medium is extracted from the discharge port 9 at the bottom of the incinerator by means of a fluid medium extracting means 4 and further introduced to the drier 14 of a mixing drying means 5. On the other hand, the predetermnied amount to be charged in the incinerator of undried matter to be incinerated M is divided into two portions at a certain fixed ratio in order to introduce the one portion of said two portions to the drier 14. In the drier 14, the high temperature fluid medium and the matter to be incinerated are agitated and mixed with each other through the rotation of a rotary spiral blade 18. The resultant dried mixture of the matter to be incinerated containing the fluid medium is then introduced in a mixer 15 in order to be supplied through a transmission passage 28 from a supplying means 6 into the incinerator.
