PURPOSE:To improve resistance to abrasion and feeling of drive by arranging the end of a belt for a belted tire for motorcycle under a rib at the end of a tread. CONSTITUTION:A motorcycle tire with a tread pattern as far as a vicinity of the largest breadth position of the tire around a tire crown part not only has a carcass 2 buried but also has a belt 7 placed outside said carcass 2. Tread patterns 12 such as a block and the like are carved in the crown part, and a rib 15 is provided in the vicinity of the largest breadth position of the tire, while the end part of said belt 7 is positioned under the rib 15. Thus, the straight driving property and turning property are favorable, and the occurrence of a crack is prevented, and further durability is improved.
