FUEL INJECTION TIMING CONTROLLER FOR DIRECT INJECTION TYPE INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the starting performance at low temperature by controlling the injection completion time of an electromagnetic fuel injection valve to the time close to the compression top dead center during cranking and to the time close to the intake bottom dead center when cranking is completed. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned controller of an internal-combustion engine which directly jets-out fuel into a cylinder and has a combustible mixed-gas range formed in the vicinity of a spark plug, the first means A for detecting that an engine is in cranking operation or completes cranking is installed. The second and the third means B and C for setting the injection completion time at which an electromagnetic fuel injection valve is closed, to the time close to the compression top dead center and the time close to the intake bottom dead center respectively are provided. The fourth means D which selects the second means B during cranking and selects the third means C when cranking is completed is provided, and a fuel injection valve is controlled according to the fuel injection completion time selected by the fourth means D and the fuel injection amount.
