REGENERATIVE BRAKE CONTROLLER OF ELECTRIC RAILCAR

PURPOSE:To brake with a comforting railcar by slowly decreasing a regenerative current proportionally to the decrease in the deceleration of the speed of the railcar until the railcar becomes the speed at the regenerative at the regenerative end time. CONSTITUTION:A speed detector 7 outputs a speed voltage Vs by detecting the speed of a motor 1. An operational amplifier 9 outputs a voltage V0 proportional to the voltage Vs of the motor via the speed voltage Vs and a bias voltage Vcc and becoming zero at the point of the speed voltage V3 at the regenerative end time of a railcar. The output voltage V0 is clamped at the maximum value by a Zener diode 17 to becomes a regenerative current command I, which is applied to a chopper 6. Thus, the brake is not abruptly disengaged at the speed at the regenerative end time of the railcar, but providing the brake control of the railcar with comforting railcar.
