TWO-STAGE HEATING TYPE SOLAR HEAT UTILIZING WATER HEATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To raise the maximum value of water temperature, by dividing a heat absorbing section into a first ordinary section and a second section in which the ratio of the quantity of projected heat to the area of heat absorbing surface is increased, and thereby heating water heated in the first section further in the second section. CONSTITUTION:A heat absorbing section consists of a first ordinary section 2 and a second section 3 which is composed of a water container 4 and a heat collecting means 10. The heat collecting means 10 is constituted by a plurality of flat reflector plates 12 and convex lenses 11 which are connected to each other in a cylindrical form, and the ratio of the quantity of projected heat to the area of heat absorbing surface is selected within the range of 2-1.3. With such an arrangement, water heated in the first heat absorbing section 2 is further heated in the second section 3. Therefore, it is enabled to raise the maximum value of water temperture and to increase the amount of hot water supplied while reducing the heat loss of the apparatus.
