-- 1 -Abstract:A device adapted to mount a metal door jamb into awall opening consists of a fixing member to be mounted onthe reveal of a wall opening and formed by an oblong strip-shaped plate, which, in mounted position, extends overalmost the entire width of the reveal. Each end of thefixing member comprises a relatively short side flangewhich, in mounted position, projects from the wall; eachside flange being provided with a bore hole. An adjustablebracket consists of an elongate strip, each end of whichextends into a leg that, in mounted position, embraces thewall. Each such leg is provided with a slot-shaped openingfor adjustably mounting the bracket on a side flange of thefixing member. Each such leg is further provided withoutwardly projecting receiving members spaced apart in thedirection of extent of the leg for retaining between theman end flange of the door jamb when the latter is resilientlysnapped into place over the bracket.
