Abstract:A method for the production of a hose of a shape-curedelastomeric material, such as vulcanized rubber, especial-ly an automotive radiator coolant hose, which methodcomprises the bringing of the hose onto a flexiblestraight mandrel, sliding the flexible mandrel ontoan inner mandrel portion having the finally desiredconfiguration of the hose, curing the hose in thisconfiguration, sliding the flexible mandrel togetherwith the hose of said inner mandrel portion and bringingthe flexible mandrel onto a straight auxiliary mandreland sliding the hose of the mandrel.
